The ESFA has amended the eligibility criteria for the 16 to 19 tuition fund, so students who have not achieved a grade 5 or above in English and/or maths can now be supported, rather than grade 4. The ESFA has issued eligible providers with a template that needs to be completed if they wish to opt-in to receive this additional funding to support small group tuition for 16 to 19 students. These templates need to be returned to ESFA by Wednesday 16 September 2020.
