16 Week Training Flexibility Increased for Universal Credit Claimants

The ESFA has announced that there is an extension to the flexibility allowing Universal Credit claimants to undertake training for up to 16 weeks. The flexibility, introduced in April 2021, increased the amount of time claimants in the intensive work search group could attend full-time, work-related training courses while still receiving benefits to 12 weeks, and up to 16 weeks for a skills bootcamp.
