Awarding Bodies Warn of Quality Implications of Remote EPA

Following guidance from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) that face-to-face end-point competency assessment can be carried out remotely during the coronavirus pandemic, awarding organisations have warned that online assessment will only work for about 40% of apprenticeships. They have also warned that the government guidance is too vague and could compromise quality.
