HMRC have updated the guidance for employers on claiming for employees’ wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme. The updated information is around payroll date and eligibility following the government’s announcement that the Scheme’s eligibility date has been extended to 19 March 2020 (from 28 February), ensuring thousands more employees can receive financial support.
