Ofqual Chief Regulator, Sally Collier, has responded to the Direction from the Secretary of State for Education, about vocational and technical qualifications, and other general qualifications, in 2020. Her letter refers to work that Ofqual will now do to award vocational and technical qualifications, and general qualifications this summer. Her letter introduces details of the consultation now open for two weeks, seeking views on the extraordinary regulatory framework designed to cater for the wide range of vocational and technical qualifications.
