The government has announced a £5 million Loneliness Covid-19 Grant Fund. National organisations working to tackle loneliness and build social connections are invited to apply for a share of this funding, which the government is investing to help them to continue and adapt their critical work. This fund will make grants of between £500,000 and £1,000,000 and forms part of the government’s effort to tackle loneliness during the COVID-19 outbreak and period of social distancing.
