Ofqual has added a ‘Guidance for Centres‘ document to its guidance page on awarding qualifications in summer 2020. The guidance explains their plans for the awarding of vocational and technical qualifications (VTQs) and general qualifications other than GCSEs, AS and A levels this summer. They outline what they expect from awarding organisations and what centres should expect to happen over the coming weeks and months. Commentary of the guidance can be read here. They have also added guidance for Heads of Centre, Heads of Department and teachers on objectivity in grading and ranking.
