Labour Criticises Government Response to AELP’s Legal Letter on the Provider Relief Scheme

by | 0 comments

Labour’s shadow education secretary  and shadow apprenticeships minister have criticised the government’s response to AELP’s claim that the ESFA’s supplier relief scheme was unlawful.  This follows the Government Legal Department (GLD) response to a legal letter sent on behalf of AELP which concluded the scheme was not unlawful on any of the grounds. The criticism of the response was that the GLD response failed to respond to many of the issues raised in the AELP letter. Further details and the text of all the letters can be read here.
