The CBI has written to the Prime Minister with the CBI’s ‘health-first recovery plan that would help secure a jobs-rich, fair and sustainable future for the UK economy’. They are urging the government to focus its recovery plans on making job creation, skills training and opportunities, especially for young people, the top priority and also to on investing in the green economy to create new jobs, investment and a more sustainable future and in targeted financial support to kick-start consumer demand and unleash UK competitiveness.
