The National Careers Service (NCS) has introduced a free bespoke Furlough Enrichment Programme for employees who have been furloughed. Furloughed staff can gain support on how they can continue learning and training online, working with a dedicated adviser to explore a huge range of free courses to expand their digital and numeracy skills. Further information about the programme is available here. The NCS can also carry out a Training Needs Analysis with employers to identify training needs for their workforce. They can offer training to support staff in working effectively from home or returning to work and training to boost confidence and morale. The NCS can also offer specialist redundancy support to anyone who becomes unemployed and needs assistance with their next steps. Their qualified careers advisers can help with the preparation to return to work, access online training and provide personalised support to help move forward. Further information can be read here. To find out more or speak to an adviser, please call 07814 167968 or email rachelwaller@cxk.org.
