The Education and Training Foundation’s (ETF) Further Forces programme is a scheme to recruit and retrain Armed Forces Service Leavers to teach technical subjects, including Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) in the Further Education (FE) and Skills Sector. Information about the programme can be accessed on the ETF website. There is a last opportunity to apply now as potential recruits until the end of August 2020 to complete their induction, orientation and programme registration. The programme is always searching for appropriate teaching roles in FE or work placements for the trainees, details of these can be contacted through furtherforces@port.ac.uk.
