The Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills, Gillian Keegan, has written to the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education to inform it that the DfE has decided not to fund apprenticeships at Level 8. She has stated that the DfE ‘decided not to fund any Level 8 apprenticeships, as we do not believe this represents good value for money’.
