Apprenticeship Off-the-Job Training Survey from ESFA

by | 0 comments

The ESFA is gathering insight from providers and employers on the benefits of different approaches to delivering the minimum 20% off-the-job training element of an apprenticeship. It is keen to understand if it is of interest to employers and providers to deliver more off-the-job training before an apprentice begins work or in a more concentrated block of training at the start of an apprentice’s employment and training. They have created a survey which they would like providers to complete, seeking views on which delivery models work well, and about how providers utilise the flexibilities in the apprenticeship rules to do upfront off-the-job training ahead of the apprentice starting their on the job activity. The results of the survey will be used in submissions to Ministers. The survey is available here, and the deadline is 17:00 on Monday 24 August.
