The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published Education at a Glance 2020 which provides information on the state of education around the world, providing data on the structure, finances and performance of education systems. The publication, alongside an accompanying brochure the Impact of COVID-19 on Education, analyses the impact of the pandemic and warns that, while there is uncertainty about the overall impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education expenditure, governments may face difficult decisions on the allocation of public funds as economic growth slows, tax incomes decline and healthcare and welfare costs rise.
