The Education Select Committee held a session on the upcoming FE White Paper. A number of witnesses were asked their views on the issue of whether colleges in England should be brought back into public ownership, which is an option being considered by the DfE. The views expressed by the Association of Colleges, the Sixth Form Colleges Association and others are summarised in this article. A recording of the session can be watched on Parliament TV.
