The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has published the Statistical Digest of Rural England, a compendium of rural urban statistics on a wide range of social and economic Government policy areas, including updates to population, economic activity and transport and travel. Also published is the latest edition of the Rural Economic Bulletin has been published. This is a dashboard of indicators such as claimant count, economic activity, redundancies and house prices designed to provide evidence on the rural economy.
