IfATE Announces Changes to EPA for Statutorily Regulated Professions

by | 0 comments

The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has announced plans to change how end-point assessment (EPA) work for apprenticeships where the statutory regulator has an established professional competency test. It has said that “in situations where an apprentice has met the statutory regulator’s requirements to practice, this will be counted as that apprentice’s end point assessment”.  A consultation will take place on each standard before any change is made, giving people a chance to feed back.
