The DfE’s Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices (ReSSA) is offering support to individuals on the impact of redundancy, their options and next steps. It is keen for this service to be promoted to employers who have apprenticeship opportunities to offer to redundant apprentices. The employer guidance has all the details, including a link to the employer incentives for hiring apprentices between 1 August and 31 January 2021, which also applies to hiring redundant apprentices.
