The Institute for Employment Studies has published a Labour Market Statistics October 2020 briefing note, setting out analysis of the Labour Market Statistics published on 13 October. The figures show that employment is down by nearly half a million since the pandemic began. It has also published a report on behalf of the CIPD, investigating the state of labour market enforcement in the UK and how it can be improved.
