Kickstart Scheme Minimum Vacancy Rule for Employers Removed

The DWP has announced that from 3 February, employers can apply directly to the Kickstart scheme without a minimum threshold of 30 jobs. It has also announced that more than 120,000 jobs have now been created through the scheme. The Kickstart scheme guidance has been updated to reflect this change. The collection of guidance documents on the Kickstart scheme has also been updated with this guidance. In other news related to the Kickstart scheme, the Chair of the parliamentary Public Accounts Committee, Meg Hillier, has called for an investigation by the National Audit Office into the government’s selection of gateway providers.
