by | 0 comments

AbilityNet recently delivered a webinar to SCTP members introducing the key principles of Digital Accessibility including the legal, moral and commercial case for ensuring websites, apps and documents are accessible to all and how people with disabilities use assistive technology or customise their experience in order to access digital products. They also introduced their Digital Accessibility Maturity Model for HE & FE, which can help you decide where your organisation sits on the spectrum between outmoded practice and leading-edge accessibility excellence. The maturity model can be accessed via their website. AbilityNet provides a range of training, accessibility auditing and consultancy, their training details are available on their website and SCTP members can get a 10% discount on their training by using the code AbilityNetTraining10.
