Brighton & Hove City Council has given evidence to parliament about the damage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic to the city’s night-time economy. The All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Night-Time Economy has just published its report on the impact of Covid-19 on UK nightlife and the council is “calling on the government to give the sector a clear ‘road map’ for re-opening safely, together with financial support to enable night-time venues to survive”.
