Ofsted has emailed providers to complete an inspection information survey. This survey is to gather information about provider’s FE and skills training provision in case it is selected for an inspection or a monitoring visit for the period up to March 2022. (It is not an indication that they will inspect or visit you during this period). Ofsted has said that “The survey gives you the opportunity to provide us with information that will inform us so that we might avoid inspecting/monitoring your training provision at a time when this is least practical. It will help us to plan for the inspection or monitoring visit supplied with accurate and necessary information provided directly by you. It will also help to ensure that all safety and security considerations are known. By completing the survey, you will help to ensure that any visit goes smoothly for you, your staff, learners and inspectors. Your responses to the survey will be treated confidentially and held securely.” It asks if any information covered in the survey submission changes before the next annual survey, or there are any questions about the survey, to email fes@ofsted.gov.uk. Responses are requested by 31 March 2021.
