The ESFA guidance on incentive payments for hiring a new apprentice has been updated to reflect the increase in incentive payments for hiring a new apprentice to £3000 for apprentices starting their apprenticeship from 1 April to 30 September and the extending of the phase 1 application window to 31 May 2021 for those apprentices who joined before 1 April.
