The ESFA has published version 4 of the apprenticeship funding rules 2020 to 2021. The rules have been updated to reflect that from 25 February, eligible apprentices can start their end-point assessment before they achieve their functional skills qualifications if they have been waiting for the opportunity to access functional skills assessments but have been prevented from doing so due to coronavirus restrictions.
