The ESFA has announced that the cap on apprenticeship starts for small employers will be reset to zero from 1 April and that the cap will be kept under review during the next financial year. It has also said that the reservation period for employers who do not pay the apprenticeship levy is being extended from three to six months from 1 April 2021.
