The ESFA has updated its guidance on how to register and use the apprenticeship service as an employer by adding information to explain that all new apprenticeships must go through the apprenticeship service, information about an extension from 3 to 6 months for reserving funding and information about how employers can obtain a PAYE number.
The ‘How to take on an apprentice’ guidance has also been updated to include information on reserving funding for employers that do not pay the apprenticeship levy.
