Report on Workers in Poor-Quality Work and Effects of Covid-19

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has published a report entitled ‘What the first COVID-19 lockdown meant for people in insecure, poor-quality work’, which concludes that it is important for the government to recognise that financial challenges are heightened for some workers who have been put under even greater pressure during COVID-19 and are at a higher risk of losing their job or having their hours reduced.
