Ofsted has published a study on supporting students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) which was developed to explore how the needs of children and young people are met in mainstream schools and how approaches vary between providers. A summary of the study can be read in their press release.

The DfE has published the latest data on children and young people with an education, health and care (EHC) plan in England and, historically, for those with a statement of special educational needs (SEN).
