The ESFA has updated the policy which describes how it will deal with providers that apply unsuccessfully to the new RoATP or do not apply following an invitation. The update has changed some of the dates and updated the links to relevant pages.
Last month the ESFA published a new guide for apprenticeship training providers. As well as setting out the minimum requirements for newer providers, the guide supports experienced providers by highlighting good practice and continuous improvement. It also links to detailed guidance on specific topics such as off-the-job training and end-point assessment. This guide has now been added as a new section to its Register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP) guidance.
