The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has announced a £210 million investment over the next 5 years to give public and private sectors access to cutting-edge computing to boost innovation. A new artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing centre has been launched in partnership with IBM to bring together expertise in these areas to support the application of these technologies in industry and the public sector.
