The DfE has published the ‘Keeping children safe in education 2021’ statutory guidance, which sets out the legal duties that schools and colleges must follow to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people under the age of 18 in schools and colleges. This version comes into force on 1 September 2021. Until then, the current 2020 version should be followed.
