The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has published a ‘Research and development (R&D) people and culture strategy’, which sets out how the government plans to develop the research workforce, and to ensure that careers in research and innovation are open to people from all backgrounds, working within environments that get the best out of them.
