The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Apprenticeships has published its annual report for 2020-21. The report contains a series of recommendations to increase uptake and improve
the delivery of apprenticeships, as well as ensure better access to apprenticeships for both learners and employers. The recommendations include that the The Skills and Post-16 Education Bill should be used as an opportunity to improve overall apprenticeship provision and support the delivery of quality apprenticeships, and that the DfE should continue to promote the work of the Apprenticeship Ambassador Scheme and support the delivery of a mentoring scheme which could be undertaken with each regional network.
