The ESFA has announced that the current status of the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) being only open for providers that meet the criteria for the exceptions process regarding critical worker–linked provisions, will cease on 15 August. For providers who have been successful in proving they meet the critical worker–linked provisions criteria and have been given an application deadline to submit their full application, this is still in place. From 16 August 2021, the RoATP will only be open for new providers that are able to fulfil an unmet employer demand. Full details on this new process will be shared on 16 August 2021.
