The DfE has published an updated version of ‘Keeping children safe in education which sets out the legal duties that must be followed to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people under the age of 18 in schools and colleges.
It has also published an updated version of ‘Sexual violence and sexual harassment between children in schools and colleges’ which covers schools’ and colleges’ legal responsibilities and a whole school or college approach to safeguarding and child protection.
