A survey of UK businesses by the Confederation of British Industry has concluded that UK’s jobs outlook is strengthening, with 50% of their respondents expecting to grow their workforce in the next year. However, around three quarters (76%) of businesses are reporting access to labour as a threat to the UK’s labour market competitiveness. Further survey data is available here.
