The Low Pay Commission has published the new National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage rates which will apply from 1 April 2022. The new National Living Wage sees a 6.6% increase to £9.50 and the new apprentice minimum wage will be £4.81, which is an increase of 11.9%. A summary of the evidence used in its decision making has also been published, following the consultation earlier this year.
