A new report has been published by Impetus, which looks at whether increasing the school day by 30 minutes will actually have an impact on education outcomes. The report ‘Time Well Spent‘ analysed the length of the school day across a random sample of schools across England and found insufficient evidence of its impact on education outcomes to justify a large scale investment in extending it.
