The DfE has updated the published apprenticeships and traineeship statistics. This release shows full-year final data on apprenticeships and traineeships in England for the 2020/21 academic year (August 2020 to July 2021). This update also includes the latest available apprenticeship service data including commitments, registrations, and reservations. The latest figures show that apprenticeship starts were down by 0.3% to 321,400, compared to 322,500 reported for the same period in 2019/20. Apprenticeship achievements increased by 6.6% to 156,500, compared to 146,900 in 2019/20.
