The Department for Work and Pensions has announced a new Access to Work Adjustment Passport for disabled university students, aimed at easing the transition from university into employment by reducing the need for repeated health assessments when starting a new job. The scheme is being piloted by the University of Wolverhampton and Manchester Metropolitan University, the pilot will be completed by March 2023. The DWP has said if the pilot is successful, it will consider rolling out the scheme before the end of the pilot.
