Actions for FE Providers During COVID-19 Guidance Update

The DfE has updated its FE operational guidance for FE and skills providers on what to do during the COVID-19 outbreak to maintain provision to reflect new measures announced on 27 November. The changes to the guidance include updated advice in tracing close contacts and isolation to reflect the change in measures for close contacts of suspected or confirmed Omicron cases, updated advice on face coverings to reflect the change in measures – they are now recommended in communal areas in all FE settings for adults and students, and an update to the educational visits section to advise careful consideration of any international educational visits.
