This article focuses on the news that most providers who submitted a business case against adult education budget (AEB) clawback have been successful. Providers in receipt of AEB grants in 2020/21 were told that they would only receive their full funding if they could prove they had delivered at least 90 % of their allocation for that year. The ESFA then accepted businesses cases against this and the majority of those were told in December that their case had been supported.
