Office for Students Student Outcomes Consultation

by | 0 comments

The Office for Students has launched a consultation, with proposals for a new approach in its regulation of student outcomes and the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). It is consulting on three new sets of proposals for its regulation of quality and standards in English higher education. One is on setting minimum requirements for the outcomes that universities and colleges deliver for students. One is on a new TEF which would give ratings to universities and colleges. The third is on student outcome and experiences data indicators, on the way it is proposing to construct, present and interpret the data which would form the evidence base for regulating student outcomes and would inform TEF assessments. A summary of the consultation themes is available in this article.
