Today, a major training needs analysis survey is being launched, giving those involved in the delivery of apprenticeships the opportunity to shape the support they will be offered through the Apprenticeship Workforce Development (AWD) programme. The Department for Education is making a significant investment in the apprenticeship workforce over the next few years. This survey will help determine how this is spent to help tackle some of the challenges currently facing those supporting the delivery of apprenticeships, including apprentice retention.
