Ofsted’s senior leaders have admitted their complaints policy “is not working” and is under review. Officials have been told to make changes to the process, following feedback from the sector. Ofsted officials are now reviewing their policy to see how they can improve it, including making a new “enhanced oversight” process, which should lead to inspections being picked up in real time, before issues arise.
