The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) committee has issued a new report urging the government to invest in businesses and skills to “kickstart growth”. In the report, MPs called on the government for support with “skills development” directed at upskilling “existing” members of the workforce, either through a reform of the apprenticeship levy or “other mechanisms”.
