New Study shows Over 50s take Longer than Rest of Workforce to Find New Employment

Allianz Trade’s The right to work versus the right to retire, report found that those over the age of 50 take longer to find new work with less than half of some older workforce cohorts employed. Just half (51 per cent) of the EU’s population, aged between 60 to 64, is still active in the labour market and it is said this issue was driven by difficulties in finding an adequate job, long-term unemployment, and ageism.
