Lifelong Loan Entitlement Changes Name and Gains Royal Assent

The government has renamed the lifelong loan entitlement after the legislation that paved the way for the flagship scheme gained royal assent. Now officially rebranded as the lifelong learning entitlement, the LLE was put on the statute book after clearing both houses of parliament. Set to be rolled out from 2025, the entitlement will provide individuals with the equivalent of four years of tuition loans – worth up to £37,000 in today’s fees – to use flexibly over their lifetime.
