IfATE published guidance on 5 September 2023 setting out the new policy, criteria and process for mandating a qualification as part of an apprenticeship following the consultation earlier in the year. Where a qualification is mandated, all apprentices must pass it in order to complete the apprenticeship. The new policy and approach helps to ensure that only suitable qualifications are mandated and taken, and aims to reduce the burden of assessment in apprenticeships. The seminar will include:
